Ecomouton

Source
How adorable is the concept of ecomouton? In Paris, sheep have been hired to "mow" the lawn of the Paris Archives grounds instead of using polluting lawnmowers. Plus, the sheep fertilize grass fo' free! Can you imagine sheep grazing underneath the Eiffel Tower one day?

Watch a video of the cute Mutton Mowers baa-ing around the City of Love here.

Apparently, this already exists in the city of Groningen, NL.

Manuel Obregón

Check out the latest article I wrote for the Las Nubes website about the event that caused me stress because of... posters. It's tough to be in charge of promotion when janitors tear down posters as soon as you put them up. More information on Obregón's career can be found here. I would really recommend watching the video! He's truly talented and even opened for Elton John!

Eating Right II

Beautiful baby graffiti eggplant for a Moroccan inspired recipe
The best way to up-cycle Maple glazed Easter ham:  Tacos with pineapple salsa
I'll say it's a deconstructed sandwich to make it sound more complicated than it really is. That hummus dip is seriously the best thing ever though. A mix of olive tapenade, eggplant babaganoush and chickpeas blend together to make a sum incredibly better than its parts.

Home-made cornbread with a hearty chili.
Tatzkiki sauce, olives and grated carrots are a match made in heaven.

Green and purple salad: pepitas, green pepper and lettuce with a cranberry-balsamic vinegar dressing and some blackberries.
If you've realized that it's taken me 3 months to update you on my eating habits, you can probably compute that I only take the time to make a nice meal about once a week. Sigh. Need to work on that.

The best surprise thus far coming back home: a visit from Pablo the Cuban Dog.
Oh, hi there.
